Our Mission
To make a difference to women's lives and empower women to be whoever they want to be by removing the barriers to women's equality, being a formidable force for change in the industry, shining a light on the challenges ALL women face and fighting for the equity women deserve.
Bloom Scotland launched in 2019 as an extension of Bloom UK (2010) to create a network that provides a professional support for women within the advertising and communications industry - with a focus on Scottish talent, challenges and relationships. We focus on putting difficult conversations in the spotlight, and giving women in-real-life training, experiences and relationships in an increasingly hybrid world.
To this day, we have remained discipline-agnostic and welcome members from across the communications, media, creative, advertising, marketing, PR, digital and design sectors, whether you're in-house, agency or freelance.
How We Do It

Uplevel
We create workshops focusing exclusively on areas in which women are disproportionately affected; from having difficult conversations, to building confidence and returning to work after maternity leave.

We create space through networking events, our newsletter and social media to build valuable connections, facilitating knowledge sharing, providing opportunities for informal mentoring and celebrate Scottish female businesses and achievements.

Inspire
We shine a light on real experiences through women's voices and stories to drive change and champion all that is great about Scottish women in business.
